Bright Beginnings

Bright Beginnings is an interactive parent-child program for parents and their babies. This six week series of classes promotes discovery, bonding, learning and fun for both babies and their parents. It is designed to help parents understand and promote healthy infant and toddler development for future emotional and educational success. Bright Beginnings is a wonderful learning experience for both first-time parents and for growing families welcoming new siblings.

Children will benefit from activities and games to enhance sensory-motor, social, cognitive and emotional development. Parents will learn more about their children's developmental stages, bond with parents sharing similar experiences and learn new ways to engage their babies and enhance their developmental process.

The Bright Beginnings program was developed over ten years ago at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York City. The program starts with a pre-natal component and has subsequent groups for parents and babies between 3-36 months.
